Included in this set:
US Silver Eagle, BU
Issued since 1986 as legal tender by the US Mints in Philadelphia and San Francisco, American Silver Eagles are only available in the 1 oz size with a face value of $1.00. The obverse depicts the memorable Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman, adapted from the popular US quarters and half dollars. The reverse features the Heraldic Eagle design by John Mercanti.
Canada Silver Maple Leaf, BU
Beautifully struck in 99.99% pure silver, Silver Maple Leafs feature King Charles III as of 2024. In keeping with tradition, the left-profile bust presents the new monarch without a crown on his head, a tradition established by previous British kings on Canadian coinage. Starting with the 2017 issue, they have cutting-edge security features including precise radial lines on the obverse and reverse, and a micro engraved maple leaf on the reverse for authenticity.
Austria Silver Philharmonic 48, BU
The Austrian Mint in Vienna has been producing exceptional coins for more than 800 years. Introduced in 2008, Silver Philharmonics are perhaps the most popular silver bullion coin in Europe and the only one denominated in euros. Honoring the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, the obverse depicts a collection of classical instruments while the reverse shows the Great Organ of Vienna's Musikverein, home of the famous orchestra.
Britain Silver Britannia, BU
The British Royal Mint traces its history back to the original London Mint established in 899 AD. Silver Britannias debuted in 1997 and have become extremely popular. Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022 and the succession to the throne by her son, Prince Charles, a new design featuring King Charles III was introduced in 2023. The reverse design has the classic image of Britannia, the mythic personification of Britain as warrior goddess, which has graced coins under every British monarch since Charles II in 1672.
South Africa Krugerrand, BU
While Gold Krugerrands have been one of the most popular gold bullion coins since they were introduced in 1967, Silver Krugerrands debuted in 2017 with the release of the Premium Silver Coin intended for collectors. 2018 marked the first issue of 1 oz Silver Krugerrands, minted specifically for the silver bullion retail market. The obverse presents a portrait of Paul Kruger, the nation's first president. The reverse depicts the graceful Springbok antelope, national animal of South Africa.
