1/27/2025: Gold testing all-time high
Source:
Greetings!
The Trump administration has hit the ground running faster than any presidency in modern history. At the same time, the Fed’s influence, after leading the markets for years, has clearly been sidelined by a necessary pause in interest rate cuts.
So, who will dominate the markets in 2025?
In this new edition of AGE Gold Commentary, I’ll explain why the Trump administration’s policies of deregulation, spending cuts, tax cuts, and tariffs may be the most important factors affecting markets during the first half of this year—and the main reasons why gold is likely to hit new record highs.
I’ll talk about how sticky inflation and the fear of higher prices due to tariffs are already powering gold to test all-time highs despite recent strength in both the dollar and US Treasury yields. And I’ll explain why silver is offering even better upside potential than gold.
So please join me as I discuss the changing US economic landscape and the latest charts to outline why 2025 promises to be another breakout year for precious metals.
