3/4/2024: Why is gold hitting new highs?
Source:
Greetings!
Late last week, gold surged $60 an ounce in two sessions to test its all-time high of $2,093. Today, it rallied another $30 to close above $2,125. Bullish sentiment has returned to the gold market with a vengeance and additional record highs are firmly back on the table.
What changed? Quite a bit! In this new edition of AGE Gold Commentary, I analyze some fundamental shifts in US economic data—including inflation, manufacturing, jobs, and consumer spending—that are spurring renewed anticipation of rate cuts from the Fed.
We’ll look at recent trends in Treasury yields and the dollar to illustrate how they will drive gold and silver substantially higher. I’ll discuss why gold is increasingly likely to run another $50 to $100 an ounce to more than $2,150 in the coming months, and why silver is dramatically undervalued right now.
And finally, I’ll tell you about some fantastic inventory specials on modern gold and silver bullion coins, vintage European gold coins, and pre-1933 US gold. We’ve been buying back a lot of great coins from longtime customers recently, and we need to liquidate! This means low prices for you. But the inventory is going fast.
